Tips
I wanted to tell the internet that there are some tips and tricks and hacks for getting things such as the Mr. DIY store. It is open in many parts of India now and at least in Jaipur. I can validate that they have some items which are dropped at a considerable rate and there are clearance sale of 70%. Also some unpacked or used items are sold again at considerably low price and I was able to get most of the hardware tools like cutters, pliers sockets and many more things from Mr. Diy like a hammer or I got organizing kits. I got glue paste and many such things. Always the cost is not that high. Secondly, on Zomato if any ordered item is canceled, it is out for rescue wherein customers using the app will get a notification and they can redirect the order to their home. The benefit is that through this the restaurant efforts are respected. The food itself is not wasted and the rider also gets some amount of money. The food itself is presented at a nominal price which is good for customers as well. Just that these food rescue alerts pop up mostly during the evenings or the nights or midnights, but it is good to get the food for cheap. Third of all is the deodap app website. They have many items at a considerably low price. 4th is the habit to DIY everything. Other things are like open source softwares and filecr.com through which we get free softwares. Also the mystery audits in which we get a chance to buy stuff for free. In exchange of the audit performed at the store, we have to send the data of the questionnaire. Although this payment is received after 3 months of performing the audit.

NextDNS
Next DNS https://nextdns.io/?from=bsgsvbvp is a great tool to have a control of your usage of internet. There are many sources of content present on the internet today like YouTube, Facebook etc etc. And then you want to have just the clean stuff, not the shadier things so you can use next DNS by setting up your account. It's a open source software and it's very well made given that it is compatible with all kind of devices. Be it an Android device or a PC or a TV that is a smart TV or a router. All you need to do is have a private DNS setup as per what is mentioned and what I like is there are pre-made packs that you can keep in there which blocks and or trackers or fishing websites. Top level domains just go to nextdns.io and check out their features. I highly highly recommended for us for the next upcoming generation who are the heavy users of internet.

A trip to North
ℹ Thinking out loud from shared experiences. In case of infringement, please contact to delete 🙂
I took an impromptu trip to North India travelling towards north I have found myself in the evening at a town which is situated in the middle of Jaipur & Delhi it's called Kotputli. With the Goodwill of my father I had a chance to stay at one of the relative of his friend and I got a chance to meet their warm family who gave me lentil soup lady finger sabzi and dal with butter roti and it was a family like experience we chatted with family members like elder brother children uncle and had a chance to straighten my back there and realised that it I have come this far by myself, it was a good decision given that a mundane loop was broken, the highlight of the ride was my ride that is Aviator it has 125 cc engine. Until I ended my journey it's just 6 refills for me to reach up till Amritsar but in the meanwhile I had several hiccups with the the mobile mount that I had put and the side view mirror that was dangling around I took around 5 to 6 halts on my way from Kotputli to Amritsar but I covered all the distance that is about 600 km within a span of 2 days I took a pause at village called tohana but before that the journey was really really good I first took a halt at Hisar (Haryana) and filled up my bottle and also before that I got a chance to visit a restaurant called Highway express and there I had dosa and lassi for my breakfast it was situated soon after the Kotputli town just after leaving Kotputli. It was around 8 a.m. and I was able to thank the weather and it was quite pleasant to drive although I was a little heavy headed with the lack of sleep and I refreshed myself with wet wipes and also took ample water to be hydrated in fluctuating hot weather while I was crossing Delhi I found myself in the farmers protest which was going on for kilometres long yet I had to bypass it via a kuccha road I got help from a stranger who was kind enough to back my vehicle when I had to move to the another lane which was directing traffic in opposite direction. It also served as the shortcut after a few kilometres I found myself in the middle of the farmers protest but it was rather assuring to see the view from my naked eyes which I saw months back that the farmers had set up their livelihood and they are taking bath they are doing their farming on the banks of the highway and they are also being helped by the locals there as a matter of fact that I came to know from a worker in petrol pump was that locals were rather happy with the advent of farmers because they were giving them daily free food they have all the amenities and the social community service had been going on the locals never wanted the farmers to leave. I refilled my vehicle and reached nearby Delhi to divert myself into Haryana but before that I saw a little pain in my knees and I have to take a halt at a Reliance petrol pump where I refreshed myself and updated my status with picture of my mother and me and it was her bits and strength that allowed me to go on this trip I had to pay my respects that way, next I drove past Delhi and entered into Haryana. Haryana was not that pleasant given that the roads were upholded and there were many potholes and the directions were also unclear with narrow roads and there were several bumps that added to the already dangling mirror and mobile holder, but that challenge was only a reminder that soon will reach a place to fix this forever and continue our journey. The better part of the journey started when I entered Punjab but before that I tried to took hold of a room that is a hotel mirchi in tohana it just costed me 800 per night and I was able to sleep peacefully for straight 11 to 13 hours with full AC and least distraction they were kind enough to give me food shelter and a private parking spot, while they have their own whereabouts with the parties and banquet going on. I took their service, thanked them and went on to continue my journey from tohana to Amritsar surprisingly that itself took me one day why because even though the roads were very very smooth, they were wide, it was all Asphalt made and they had the correct indications. The mobile application for rescue were both Google maps and waze I tried to lift up my mood by using ear buds in one ear and playing travel songs, bollywood songs, my playlist and Hollywood songs, also Punjabi songs and love songs were the best. I got the directions from waze and Google maps and also waze helped me to find the highways which had the least tolls ferries and directed me with the shortest path, there were little hiccups again while I found myself in a wrong direction but thankfully the GPS and the always connected internet help me to cover the journey. Also I made use of the Sony digital camera DSC w830 for taking the pictures and eventually used my belt to tie across the dashboard and made a holder for the easy access to camera, while I was driving in Punjab I found myself in middle of a road that went either Fatehabad or Hisar so I called my friend Manik Batra he is a very gentle person and helped me throughout my planning also got me directions to a famous dhaba, Sher-e-punjab and I had Nan, kadai paneer and curd. I got a chance to take surprise stops like fields, rivers, beautiful trees and beautiful sunsets. There were certain halts where I have to simply stop, park and wait to embrace the vastness, peacefulness and the silence of the fields around me. Witnessed mustard fields, wheat fields, maize fields and common cash crops. In punjab the air was really cool in the evening I drove at around 70 to 80 km per hour constantly for several hours so that I could reach my destination i.e. Amritsar on time. I gave lift to a local near Fatehabad she told me about joining in a prayer session that was about to happen in the evening yet I was time-bound so I had to to pay her respects and continue the journey while I reached some village before Amritsar, I found the first beautiful cool and serene Gurudwara where I parked and took off my shoes entered Gurudwara and prayed for my friends and family, it was air conditioned and got a peaceful 2 minutes to sit and relax it was covered with glass it had wall murals and flowers decoration made, what made it even more enticing was there were some of the the Sikh gurus protected under the glass shield and it was made underground so that it was rather cool and protected by the the buildings around. A typical shape of Gurudwara tomb is like an inverted onion and there is a symbol called Khalsa on the saffron flag it was the first experience where I was finding myself achieve the peace I was looking for yet the journey was not over. I stopped by a mechanic shop to a tooth driver to bolt in the dangling mobile holder and they were kind enough to lend me the tool and I have been paid my respects to the uncle and carried on I was in the middle of a highway and kept on driving and stopping by to take videos and photos of the green yellow fields on the banks and I stopped at certain canal to just enjoy their depth and vastness. Lo and behold I found myself near a place called machhiwara and I had to contact my mother so that I can find out the the residential status of my relative, if he still stays there yet I was a little apprehensive of my decisions that would be reflected by his concern of me driving on a two wheeler for a 750km drive. I took a halt had some snacks freshen myself and continued my journey in the scorching sun. As soon as I saw that amritsar-jalandhar Patiala and Ludhiana are the very places I had to go I started myself to analyse with help of Google travel that which place is the most reliable given that it is like a metropolitan and it has places and things to do unfortunately while visiting Jalandhar or Ludhiana I was late to reach places because it was just about 6 p.m. I got to reach places. Which is closing time for many tourist places so I skipped Ludhiana although it had some places of historical significance To visit, once I set Amritsar on my target I got the adrenaline to drive quickly and find myself in the city before the the moon shines. I was so pumped up that I drove past 75 km per hour constantly over taking any kind of vehicle be it a car or a truck, be it two wheelers be it four wheelers be it buses be it gypsies I just took over most of the vehicle that I witnessed , sometimes other vehicles overtook but the ratio was heavier on my side (others must be thinking the same 😋). I saw a truck which was overloaded with fodder I called it the shin-chan truck 😂 it did not let me bypass. I had a plan earlier to wave hand with all the strangers that passed by and make ek a smile on their face I tried that handful of times but my speed was too high to initiate a form of connection. I had also went into one of the mustard farms and drove in middle of it to take pictures. I also witnessed bridges on the highway which were on a good enough altitude to take pictures. With my mother, father and sisters supporting me and also my friend Bhabna whose plans inspired me to take this journey, I am thankful for the hold on their fear. I was travelling on the Grand Trunk road which leads directly into Pakistan via Amritsar it was very well made and had clear hoardings for the directions and landmarks. It seems like the culture of milestone has faded away in the recent past but the the green holdings have took over and contributing well for the travellers. An idea to note while travelling is to flash your light on the holdings so that the reflective tape can give you an indication of direction. Another tip while travelling is to make sure you have your fuel tank filled up as soon as you fall behind 50% of fuelage. Also try to get hold of an electronic charger that will keep your devices charged and therefore you will be connected to your dear ones. Make sure you have a loose itinerary planned with the destinations. If you are on two wheeler try to get sunglasses as clear as possible, same for windshield on your helmet so that it obstructs anything coming to your face. The journey of Amritsar started on Monday that is 20th September 2021. I was hosted by Abhinav Khorwal who is brother in law of my sister. I had to took a huge rest of at least 13 to 15 hours to get back on the cycle and we started the day with nice breakfast and headed on to market where I got a chance to eat masala kulcha at kulcha land at night we went to peddlers club to eat good food dance and party. I was having hiccups with my work as the project that I was working on was dependent completely on my development yet my dearest friend Bhabna helped me throughout the process, whereas I making sure she tastes amritsar alongside. The next day we headed to Kesar Da dhaba from the scooty which I got prepared the previous day with help of a sardar mechanic who was stammered by voice although his skills were no less than a complete professional. I got a service of engine filter, changing charging mode of mount from always on to key mechanism. Welding, polishing and buzzer fix at a complete cost of 1150 ₹. I was happy feeling the thrust of the acceleration from my Aviator and I released off to Kesar Da dhaba to have lachha paratha and maa ki dal in thali. Also the market was filled to the brim with the scrumptious smell of boiling ghee that is the saturated fat used for binding sweets. It was exclusive and mesmerizing in its own terms. Finishing the lunch I went to Harimandir Sahib (golden temple) which is the key monument of Amritsar and also Punjab I had put up an Air bnb experience provided by Amrit pal Singh who is born and brought up in Amritsar and is distributing his culture of Sikhism via Airbnb experiences.
It costed me another 1000 rupees also I was already aware that the experience was going to be no less than wonderful meeting my expectations and met him at the shoe depositing point outside of the golden temple. The temple is so vast that it encompasses 10 gurudwaras it has four entrances and huge gates to welcome the people. First gate even had a clock that used to be serving as the ghantaghar that is the early reminder of the day for the whole Amritsar back in the days. The flags of Sikhism which are saffron in colour with a khalsa sign on it, there were two flags one is believed to be for our internal conscience and one is known for the materialistic world one flag is called as Veer and another is called the peer. As soon as we enter the temple, we were comforted with the cool water in a pit where, so one can wash their foot before they embark on their steps in the temple. I simply took off shoes and socks to deposit then in the shoe keeping area to get a token in exchange, it was a number stamped on a piece of metal which is probably going on since the time of early 1900s.
I'm at the entrance of golden temple and I was questioned on my knowledge of Sikhism where do we begin was the question to be precise and how much depth I am in to of Sikhism so naturally I had to oblige in front of the golden temple and accept my falling pride and its beauty to confess that I know nothing of Sikhism. So we started from scratch way back into the 1700 where Sikhism was a following of certain gurus and saints who had experiences of life and they share with people around them they were quite knowledgeable and had to rely on transcripts to effectively and efficiently store their wisdom although way back in the time there was just few languages or just few lipis to write any piece of manuscript so the saints and gurus invited writers and poets of different religions including Muslim Christian Parsi etc. So that they can write in people's understandable language the original manuscript was written in Gurmukhi which has its own unique typewriting. But it is also translated in Punjabi Hindi English parsi etc.
There are around 1650 pages in the Guru Granth Sahib which has various chapters also known as path. There were earlier times where people were honest they were less greedy and less corrupted therefore the gurus have the the ability to be a symbol of wisdom and share it with the people around. As time went, by the gurus of Sikh realised that such huge wisdom of over the years could be exploited by someone else for their own need and greed therefore they wrote all of their learning in a book and it is called the Guru Granth Sahib there are 10 gurus in Sikhism and the last Guru eleventh Guru is the Guru Granth Sahib itself. Punjab is divided into three parts first part is above and beyond Haryana Amritsar is a part of it, second one is below Haryana and third one is even beyond it so there were three parts of Punjab and each had different people based on the profession like the middle part of Punjab had mostly Truckers , they initiate the the advent of seventeen tired trucks to be ran in India, before that no corporate was confident enough to send such trucks in India.
Punjabis had the tradition of trucking since long back and its primary occupation so they initiated and took responsibility of trucking huge vehicles in India also abroad. The most rich and important part of Punjab includes Amritsar and the languages that people speak in Punjab is different, since the time of partition as you are aware that sun rises in the east and sets in the West so whatever language is spoken in India is called chadhti Punjabi where as whatever they speak in Pakistan is called Dhalti Punjabi. It has a unique tone to it a little affermation and warmth is felt in chadhti Punjabi where as a little coarse tone is heard in Pakistan or maybe it's the unfortunate bias for the neighbouring country Indians have, that had took over. There are usually farmers in the third and the last part of Punjab who grow all kind of cash crops and vegetation to make Punjab self-sufficient.
We enter the temple by washing of foot, bowing down the head and touching the ground to pay respects to the almighty. Moving forward we climbed down the staircase and witnessed huge golden temple in front of us. There are many elements to Sikh culture that Amrit pal told me first of all is that there are four entrances and what that signifies is that all the people from all caste creed religion and gender are welcomed in the golden temple they can seek their shelter, they can eat their food, they can seek their security within the premises of golden temple back in the day the huge flags and the long height of them catch a glimpse of whoever is in need and they can rush into the temple to seek protection and seek care. Once inside the temple it's a ritual to move in clockwise direction to pay respects to the god in between. The air around and inside the temple is really quite magical as there is a permanent Lake called sarovar surrounding the golden temple people are just chanting the name of waheguru and doing their community service local shopkeepers who are doing their businesses in punjab and across India.. come in to pay their respects at every evening to the faith.
And they carry rites in that fashion chanting the Gurbani and hoisting the Khalsa flag. As we move forward in clockwise direction we saw a board which was transcript in the Gurmukhi into Punjabi and English such that any kind of audience can read it at everyday there is an order of the day issued which has to be followed by every sikh. We move ahead to read and understand the legends of some warriors who stood out in the sikh culture one of them was Baba Deep Singh who was born a saint and sat in taran taran which is a village nearby Amritsar he converted into a warrior and he used a double-edged sword to fight against the adversity of disgraceful mughal, being the staunch Muslim and annoying, they started to defame the sikh culture by putting horse shit in the lake and simply out numbering and killing people in the temple, Baba Deep Singh did not fear converting himself into a warrior and he declared a war between him and Mughals personally what he did that he simply stood up from his holy place and invited people of his age who are at that time 60 to 70 years old to come and fight for their religion while he was moving towards Amritsar there was a huge outburst of public opinion and shock that the saint himself has vowed to fight against Mughals and he started with five to six people and and kept on going until he found out that there will be simply out number at that point he took his sword and drew a line on the ground that beyond this line whoever wants to join and fight for their religion can come, I myself am going for the very least, children and women can stay home if they want rest.
By seeing the valor of Baba Deep Singh not just elderly but adults and youngsters in a count of more than 30000 accumulated to march to Amritsar they were neither trained nor prepared. All they had was a burning desire to revenge the Mughals Baba Deep Singh was so Brave that people had a huge faith in him that he alone with his 10 decorated soldiers can slash many Mughal soldiers and from his holy place he picked and choose 10 decorated soldiers to fight with him. The soldier had unique attire with a foot long sword a blue coloured turban and clothing they also carry a spear, they will go to martyrdom for their religion. Baba Deep Singh made a promise that even if I don't win this battle each and every organ and nerve of my body will fight and with the battle between the general of Sikh and Muslim both of their head slit simultaneously but Muslim were laughing at the general that he told that he will win the battle yet his head is slit off on the ground. In a short span, the body of Baba Deep Singh rose and continued fighting while carrying his head in one of the hand this the Mughals were literally shocked to their spine. Such was the strength of Baba. That even after having his arm chopped off, wounded with 60 - 70 wounds. He continued the fight while holding his head in one hand he was declared as the ultimate warrior of Sikhism and his tomb stays in the Harimandir Sahib temple, at the spot where his murda body threw his head declaring conquer, there is a hidden spot right beside where priests chant Gurbani and swivel a Holy broom to pass on the the positive energy to the worshippers.
That hidden spot is good for sitting and meditating and grabbing the positive energy the holy ancestor still offers. There are places of historical importance, a tale is that Sikh conquered the Delhi sultanate and they cannot leave the throne empty as their holy ground is Amritsar so curb the situation they upheld the Delhi throne and bought it on the back of an elephant to drop it in the sarovar and the the bravest of the kings that is Raja Ranjit Singh quoted that कुर्सी जीत लाए हैं जी. It was also the symbol that Sikh are not about the materialistic wins what is eternal is that the greed of the materialistic world is already lost to their inner strength. That throne still sits in golden temple at a height for people to see. We witness various turban baring people in the world including Muslim and sikh. Their practice of turban bearing is a sign of paying respect to the almighty and elders and for sikhs it is both easy maintenance of hair and paying respects to the almighty who is everywhere present, Sikh do not cut their beard or hair because it brings a sense of insecurity in them, they don't look good or handsome maybe they will develop blonde hair in sometime and they will not choose to colour it because it again brings a sense of insecurity that they had to cut their hair, colour their hair and that just becomes an extra decision in their life. There are two kinds of people in Sikhism one SIkhs others are Punjabis, they can cut their hair, style it.
But Sikh will always be turban bearing there are 5 signs of being a Sikh, 1 is called as kada it's a metal bangle which is also the last resort for the weapon in times of adversity and they also carry a dagger which is meant for people's protection in times of need. They also wear a pagdi and a specific underwear kancha. Any one item is missing, it makes them not a Sikh. We also talked about project bluestar which was a resort of government to defame Punjabis and inferior the people from within, to capture the throne of Punjab from the inner roots although it was a failure because of a general present at a higher rank in the army who did not took orders from the ministers and proceeded to save his culture. There are also places where people can sit and meditate and there are certain gurus remembered for the contribution like one Guru is remembered for his army making skills. Raja Ranjit Singh was the last king of Sikh Empire and he has various accolades under his belt he is the only king who has won Afghanistan and maintained a rule for two years there.
His presence was so much tensed that people used to to spread fear in his name to bring control over situations he had his palace settled in Afghanistan where he simply ruled Afghanistan by winning the battles and sitting on the throne holding his sword. He had an unfortunate death due to a disease but his death was kept secret by continuously sending the supplies in the palace making a notion that the king is still alive and expanding the rule of Sikh Empire in the late 19th century. Barack Obama, the former president of United States of America wanted a picture of of Ranjit Singh in his office as he was the only king who ever ruled Afghanistan since time immemorial. We move close to the shore and took the cool Breeze of the sarovar there were people who were doing the service washing the mats cleaning the floor washing the stairs all out of their faith and community service and volunteering for all of it. Maharaja Ranjit Singh was a whole hearted person who accepted people of all religions and backgrounds a testimony of that is shown in his gold offering, which is 7% for the Golden temple where as 93% for the mosques and monasteries of other religions there is even a big mosque close by to Hariqmandir Sahib. He was also so much faithful in his state of rule that he challenged Queen Elizabeth that his people are loyal to him as Queen Elizabeth wondered why no one had locks on their door in Punjab. He told that all the people in state of Punjab are very trustworthy to prove it he took his 9 lacs worth of necklace and tied it around a stray dog and let it free to roam at various places but was found after two days having necklace still in his neck there could be a chance of the necklace getting stolen and it getting sold for people's greed yet it did not happen, Queen Elizabeth was really surprised and she had also written the same in her novel. There is a queue to visit insides of Harimandir Sahib, the leftmost queue goes directly into the temple where as right queue will take you on the periphery of the temple and let you sit longer.
It is advised to sit on the bank of sarovar to find yourself in eternal peace there are even clouds on the top which are illuminated by all the lights in Harimandir Sahib. We visited the the community kitchen which has the head chef preparing the food for world's largest kitchen we saw big tumblers where kheer desert, dal and sabzi are made the people themselves volunteer to job of the garlic cutting, onions and potatoes into pieces and all the raw material like grain and vegetable as simply contributed by the farmers as a means of their community service and there has been very less time of shortage in the golden temple although there has been one instance where golden temple declared a shortage of grains in the temple within few hours the road that leads to temple was choked and blocked by the trucks and the farmers of Punjab drove their way to the temple and deposited around 10000 cubic metre of grains, up to the point that the overflow had to be maintained by releasing another announcement to stop sending more grains as the situation is under control. There is a fire wood stove that keeps on running daily to feed tens of thousands of people free of cost it's a saying that one can restart their life within golden temple we also went to an in-house water refinery plant which filtered gallons of water daily to serve to the people and even there's a milk containing tumblers which are quite huge such that food items like kheer tea Or coffee can be made.
For the means of community service if the kitchen is asked for even a truck load of milk they will simply ask where is the truck and not question you for high demands such is the free willing service of Sikhism. Even a breastfeeding mother can rely on the milk the temple has to provide for her baby. It was a moving experience to see the stagnant water quenching the calmness within. My time in Amritsar has been very comfortable and fulfilling I am very much thankful to Abhinav bhaiya for hosting me on this staycation. We went to visit Jallianwala Bagh and found out that its restoration had made it tourist centric although we were able to take good shots and discuss about how people are irresponsible to throw in money at the the sacrificing well, there are still gun shot marks. Thanks to the the local knowledge of Abhinav bhaiya that we were able to navigate to places easily like malls museum forts and gardens.
Another highlight was our choices match in terms of songs that we were able to tune to Prateek kuhad music and sing some songs while he played guitar. Thanks to the past experiences of Rohit Bhaiya that we ended up in a restaurant and chose to have masala dosa the simple and fulfilling dish to have as we discussed. It has good pumpkin and coconut chutney also the waiter at the place is interesting to talk, shares his fondness of India and how Indian food is good when it is made local whereas all Chinese and other cusines are less appreciated he is always welcoming with humble service as pointed out by Rohit Bhaiya . We had a scooter and that was enough for 3 guys to go anywhere in the town so we decided to perform tripling and it was a little challenging but the thrill was overpowering we took off from Rohit Bhaiya's quarter and the the Google maps was found to be irrelevant with the memorized routes by Abhinav bhaiya he guided the way to the restaurant for last meal in Amritsar and it was definitely a good one seeing the menu and I had a chance to have firni we ordered it but its availability lasted only until evening and it's little exclusive dish to Punjab so we revisited that Kesar Da dhaba had the authentic phirni so we hopped on the scooter and travelled 6 - 4 km in the old town of Amritsar at 10 p.m. to reach the beautifully decorated Kesar street they have Kesar Da dhaba there they serve ajwain paratha lachha paratha and dal makhani Rohit Bhaiya found it to be overrated where as Abhinav bhaiyas favourite is chhole and ajwain paraathe we got the Matka kulfi in an earthen bowl made out of hardened mud it was chilled to eat and have a silver foil placed over the saffron, abhinav bro pointed that it's sugar level is pretty balanced and I found it too to be perfectly textured and strong tasting where as the recipe is still a mystery, Rohit Bhaiya found out the backend of Kesar the dhaba and he has been to this place many a times to remember and cherish the taste of Matka kulfi he generously got it for me and we tasted the Matka kulfi it was so delicious with the saffron flavour and again chilled to eat, the flavours were just the highlight where as the ice cream consistency was such that it melts in your mouth to cover your taste buds and you tend to keep eating and never want it to end it was covered in a traditional cloth with bandhage design red coloured background and golden highlights, Abhinav bhaiya pointed out one could have washed it and make use of it, he's always opportunistic be it clothes shopping or cutlery. Such is food trail of Amritsar that a fitness prone guy like Rohit Bhaiya developed a belly 😛. There were little hiccups in going back to home where I had a a remembrance of golden temple before in the day and asked them to revisit it, only for this time we had an opportunity to dig in the history of the temple and Rohit Bhaiya and I were able to exchange notes and incidents that led to the golden temple and famous spots in there. I got new knowledge on the the Baba Nanak Dev construction of the temple also the the incidents that took place at the time of partition and precursor to to Kashmir independence what events took place thanks to Rohit Bhaiya, I was able to learn more on the independence journey of Kashmir with some projects evolving in 1970 with involvement of Indira Gandhi Sanjay Gandhi and king of Kashmir up to a point that he had to choose between India and Pakistan and demanded to be shot dead if India did not respond to his agreement in joining India, otherwise Pakistan would claim Kashmir from him, it was the only motive behind Pakistan and Jinnah, this was also evident in revolts of various monarchs in India who wanted to join Pakistan like Gujarat Bhopal. While I had time to spare in Amritsar I re visited golden temple to get inside the temple and do photography, but it is prohibited in that area, whereas it's justified given that I was in the the spiritual capital of the world. I was able to talk to God and communicated the issues of my friends and family and asked him to support ambitions of my friends and family including mother, father, sisters and their in laws, cousins, friends, colleagues, ex-girlfriend and each of their families. Which makes me remind that how much they complete me and even being at the holiest place I was asking for their service. I also visited a place to buy aam papad it's believed to be exclusive and have bought half kg of packet the shopkeeper pointed out that it's a little tangy but it's the original and I'm at one of the branch of the original producer. One evening we also went to a mall and see Dwayne Johnson and Emily blunt's Jungle cruise which was a little change in our moods and utilising the weekend where as there were some funny grown ups bonding together in brotherhood that made us tickle. The hall was equipped with 3D cinema I managed to stretch the whole movie whereas Abhinav bhaiya was less interested with 3D and the plot of the movie itself but thanks to them that they bared through the movie for me. An incident to remember is that we were at the airport to see off some friends and the airport police tied a lock on the wheel and attached to the traffic cone that we could not shift from the spot it was a fine made on bypassing five minutes of allowed time without parking as it was high alert with the recent gunshot incident in Ranjit Avenue. We had heated discussions with the police to let us free as it was not clear that without any passenger the car cannot be left and it was merely 3 minutes above the allowed time we appealed to reduce the fine and was able to negotiate until 150 rupees. We had conversations on places to visit nearby and how for change Abhinav bhaiya cycles to Wagah border as it gets chilly on the highway. I remember how the shopkeeper of phulkari suit appreciated of my per
ty and was appalled on finding that I am from Jaipur not Punjab although the built and height looks like a Punjabi which was a mere honey pot for me to purchase most out of the shop although he humbly showed me all what he had to offer the best items with hand made kurtis and dupattas and I like the range of designs they seem to be expert at the job with 40 years of experience and there are tailors and workers in a closed by workshop to do the intricate stitching of kurtis and salwars. I had to negotiate on the price as it was too expensive and got a discount of 15%. I saw waiters and workers in Amritsar coming out of every age range, hotels had more adult and mature service whereas eateries had young waiters they were all although humble and quick in service. I opened up more in the foodies restaurant where we had light discussion, we ordered an extraordinary dish which had chicken pieces simmered in herbs and garlic butter it was too delicious and rich in taste. Roaming out at night is not always safe in Amritsar as there is a culture of gedi and party out in the car and some incidents had happened grabbing attention of police and stir in fear for the public. I am really really very thankful to Abhinav bhaiya for always being kind generous and supportive in whatever ways I act or speak we were again able to open up discuss on many topics ranging from culture to interests to career and relationships. My mum is very delicate and concerned to my travel plans and my father is also very protective where as my sisters are are both supportive and protective in my decisions I miss them and our exchanges conveniently in my trip. Bringing in the presence of the father and mother in laws of my sister they were kind enough to invite me on my way back to Jaipur. I also had conversation with Yogesh and Bhavna on various topics on WhatsApp and they kept me uplifted on the journey. Thanks to the support of my family members that they are available 24/7 for my mood swings, short temper and impromptu decisions. I also got a cultural push from host at gobindgarh fort where there was a little Bhangra competition before which we saw the light and sound laser show I was made fun of with my unrealistic approach to Bhangra, but the end result was good as I won buy one get one free coupon. We were at the gobindgarh fort to have experience of Punjabi culture and the constructions of maharaja Ranjit Singh.. I was able to roam around in the compound of Abhinav bhaiyas residence and it's very beautiful and been maintained by the helping hands. One afternoon we went to KFC and subway to try chicken wings and have a sandwich of our choice. I was feeling little proud to let some one elder to ride on my vehicle and lead the places to eat and have fun. Very thankful that he generously used his credit card to make all the payments. We might have got a chance opportunity to meet the cast of a new Netflix web series which has Randeep Hooda as the lead actor. I purchased an Aviator sunglasses costing around 750 rupees, as a good means of filtering out the world in front. I proposed a plan to cook something for us but the resources were lacking thanks to the helping hands of Abhinav bhaiya who made lunch breakfast and dinner for us everyday. I also had a good amount of call with Amita aunty she has also been to Amritsar and shared her experiences and thoughts on it, very sweet lady she is.
